갑상선 위기 (Thyroid crisis) 또는 갑상샘 중독발증이라고도 한다.

그레이비스 병이 앓는 중 갑상선에서 대량의 갑상선 호르몬이 분비 되어 갑자가 고열, 빈박, 불안, 망상, 혼수 등이 생길 수 있고 사망도할 수 있다.

Propranolol, 포타슘 요오드 등으로 치료 한다.
Thyroid storm
It is also called thyroid crisis or thyroid intoxication.
During Gravis’ disease, a large amount of thyroid hormone is secreted by the thyroid gland, which can lead to sudden high fever, restlessness, anxiety, delusions, coma, and death.
Treatment with propranolol or potassium iodine.
