엔젤만 증후군, Angelman syndrome

원인

유전질환이다.
부계 15q-11-q13 복사가 없으면 프라델 윌리 증후군(Prader-Willi syndrome)이 생긴다.
약 75% 경우, 모계 15q-11-q13 복사가 없으면 엔젤만 증후군이 생긴다.
12,000~to 20,000명 중 1명꼴로 이 병이 발생한다.

증상 징후

성장 발육 지연, 지능 장애, 심한 언어 장애, 운동장애 및 실조, 뇌전증, 소두증, 삼각형 안면, 넓은 입, 이 사이가 넓고, 앞으로 내민 혀, 근육긴장 저하, 침 흘림,
작은 손, 변비, 지능 저하, 인지 능력저하, 자폐증 스팩트럼 장애, 근육간대 또는 전신성
강직간대 뇌전증, 일측성 간대성 비전형성 소발작 등의 증상 징후가 생길 수 있다.
일반적으로 이 병을 가진 아이들은 행복하게 보이고 자주 웃는다. 손바닥을 치면서 흥분하기
쉽고 활동과다증 및 주의 집중력이 결여되어 있다. 특히 물에 대한 환상증이 있는 것이
보통이다. 어려서 수면 장애로 수면을 충분히 취하지 못한다.
점점 더 나이를 먹음에 따라 덜 흥분하고 수면문제가 자연히 해결되는 것이 보통이다.
얼굴이 거칠고 척주 측만증이 있을 수 있다.

진단

병력, 진찰소견 등을 종합해서 이 병을 의심하면 염색체 핵형분석으로 진단한다.

치료

증상 징후에 따라 대증 치료한다.
뇌전증은 여러 종류의 항 뇌전증 치료에 잘 치료가 되지 않는 것이 보통이다.

Angelman syndrome

Cause

• It is a genetic disease.

• Absence of paternal 15q-11-q13 copies results in Prader-Willi syndrome.

• In about 75% of cases, the absence of a maternal 15q-11-q13 copy results in Angelman syndrome.

• 1 in 12,000 to 20,000 people will develop this disease.

Symptoms Signs

• Growth retardation, intellectual impairment, severe speech impairment, movement disorders and ataxia, epilepsy, microcephaly, triangular face, wide mouth, wide teeth, tongue protruding, hypotonia, drooling,

• Small hands, constipation, impaired intelligence, cognitive decline, autism spectrum disorders, myoclonia or generalized

• Symptomatic signs such as tonic-clonic epilepsy and unilateral myoclonic aplastic small seizures may occur.

• In general, children with this disease look happy and laugh often. Getting excited by hitting your palms

• Easy, hyperactivity and lack of attention. Especially if you have fantasies about water.

• is average. When I was young, I couldn’t get enough sleep due to a sleep disorder.

• As you get older, you become less agitated and your sleep problems usually resolve spontaneously. • You may have a rough face and scoliosis.

Diagnosis

• If the disease is suspected by synthesizing the medical history and examination findings, diagnosis is made by chromosomal karyotyping. cure

Treat symptomatically according to symptoms.

• Epilepsy is usually not treated well with several types of anti-epileptic treatment.
