  • 혈당 농도가 정상 이상으로 더 높을 때 고혈당이라 하고 그로 인해 증상 징후가 생기면 고혈당증이라 한다.
  • 1형 당뇨병이 잘 치료되지 않을 때 고혈당증이 생길 수 있고,
  • 당뇨병을 치료하는데 쓰는 인슐린을 적절히 쓰지 않았을 때 고혈당증이 생길 수 있다.
  • 또 당뇨병을 치료하기위해 권장한 대로 음식물을 섭취 하지 않을 때도 고혈당증이 생길 수 있다

1형 당뇨병과 고(과)혈당증의 증상 징후

  • 소변을 자주 본다.
  • 갈증이 난다.
  • 허약하고 피로하다.
  • 시력이 희미해진다.
  • 체중이 감소된다.
  • 혈당이 비정상적으로 높고 소변에 당이 많이 나온다.
  • 질에 곰팡이 감염(이스트 감염)이 자주 생긴다.

1형 당뇨병과 고(과)혈당증의 치료

  • 의사와 도움을 받는다.
  • 음식물, 당뇨병 치료 인슐린 용량 조절,
  • 그날그날 육체적 운동량과 방법을 적절히 조절한다.
  • 1형 당뇨병과 다른 어떤 병을 동시 앓고 있으면 그 병을 적절히 치료하고 스트레스를 적절히 처리한다.
  •  요즘은 1 형 당뇨병이 있으면 혈당을 CGM(Continuous Glucose Monitor)으로 검사해 치료도 한다. 다음 사진은 CGM(Continuous Glucose Monitor)를 할 수 있는 검사기의 한 종류이다.
